Unpublished work

Although theses chapters are numbered for easy reference most stand alone and therefore can be read in any order to suit the reader, this means that if topics such as A PLAGUE ON ALL YOUR HOUSES, MATTERS OR LIFE AND DEATH, POVERTY HUNGER AND DIRT seem to be rather depressing, there will be many lighter hearted subjects which (as they are easier I have left to write later!) can come between them in the final order.

These would be ON WITH THE SHOW (various forms of entertainment alternative FUN AND GAMES) HOUSEHOLD WORDS (shopping food cooking etc. VANITY FAIR (fashion beauty etc.) RELIGION (title not yet inspired!) POLITICS, GOD SAVE THE QUEEN (royalty and SOMEONE HAD BLUNDERED) (Crimean War) HOME SWEET HOME (housing and housing development.)
